Book Fair
Dolvin’s Book Fair is held in the Media Center each fall. Children come with their class to browse the selections and then come again the following week to make their purchases. Reading Extravaganza takes place during the 2nd week of the Book Fair. Parents and students are invited to school that evening to hear the teachers, dressed in character, read their favorite stories for the kids. On this night the Book Fair is open late. Come early to see the parade of characters!
Kids Care
Kids Care is a service club that encourages community service by having after school meetings about once a month for 4th & 5th graders. The club does school ground improvement projects, charity projects, events with senior citizen groups, and other community related events. One of the larger projects is the Window of Wishes program. This is a school wide collection of holiday gifts that benefit families in need. Volunteers organize community events, purchase items for the projects, and meet with 4th and 5th graders interested in helping with these events.
Field Day
Field Day is a 2 day event that takes place each year in May. One day is for K-2, and the next day for grades 3-5. The event is held outside and has fun athletic events for the students to participate in. The events are organized by the PE teachers and run by parent volunteers.
Room Parent Coordinator
This position organizes the room parents for each class and provides guidance on how they will help out in the classroom throughout the school year. The coordinator sends out notices to room parents on upcoming class events/parties, provides PTA funds for parties to these classes, and generally is the liaison between the PTA, the Principal and the room parents.
School Store
School Store is available to students on various Wednesdays throughout the school year. Please check Upcoming Events on the home page to see when the next store is going to be held. There are many school supply items available for the students to purchase before school.
Spirit Day 
Spirit Day is celebrated the 1st school day of each month. The students and teachers wear their Dolvin Spirit Wear. Prizes are given to the classes with the greatest percentage of student participation. Classes with the greatest participation are recognized.
Spirit Wear
Dolvin t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items are available to students, parents, and teachers for purchase. Spirit Wear is available for purchase at Sneak Preview just prior to the start of school. Volunteers are responsible for design, purchase, and distribution of items to the school community.
Yearbook
The Dolvin yearbook is available for purchase. Please send your order form in to be sure to reserve yours today! Yearbooks will be distributed in May only to those who have pre-purchased a copy.
